Allergan and other companies like Allergan require a training certificate to place an order. Will this training certificate allow me to order these products?

Yes. The certificate that you receive after the training is sufficient proof of your training in the procedure being taught. We will provide you with a list of vendors to place your orders from.

 

My malpractice insurance requires a proof of training certificate. Will this training certificate fulfill the training requirement?

Yes. The certificate that you receive after the training is sufficient proof of your training in the procedure being taught. We will provide you with a list of malpractice insurance carriers who specialize in noninvasive cosmetic procedures.

 

Will I receive a training certificate?

Yes. One will be provided after completion of the course on each date.

 

What type of degree do I need to attend this course?

We train Physicians (MD and DO), Dentists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Registered Nurses. If you do not hold any of these degrees, then it is unlikely that your state will allow you to administer injections on patients.

 

Can I open an aesthetic practice after taking this course?

The laws vary by state. If you are not a physician, then it is best to contact your state licensing bureau to check whether or not you can inject by yourself, with onsite, direct, or indirect supervision by a physician. Many of the state’s laws are vague or incomplete in this area. We are unable to provide legal advice to anyone on their state’s laws.

 

What is included in the educational materials and videos?

We provide you with the complete PowerPoint Presentation of the educational goals, sample consent forms and necessary office documentation, vendor list, Policies and Procedures, and videos of the actual procedures being performed.

 

Can I get the deposit back if I have received the educational materials and videos?

Once the instructional videos have been sent out, the deposit is non-refundable. This is due to the high value of the content and the wealth of instructional information it contains. We send these preparation materials ahead of time in good faith that you will attend the course.

 

How much HANDS ON practice will I get?

It depends on the number of practice model patients that we obtain for the day of the training. With over 5 hours of actual hands on training time, we are confident that you will finish our training course with more confidence than that of other courses that offer much less hands on time. Also, we have found that many trainees like to practice on each other on the day of the course. (Trainees pay material fees only when they have the procedures done to themselves, which are $100 per area for Botox, and $100 - $300 per syringe for dermal fillers.)

 

Can I bring my office manager/spouse/assistant/other individual with me to the training?

Yes, and we charge a $100 per day fee for these types of attendees who are not actually receiving the training. This fee reflects that each additional person in the room is taking away time, attention and space from other trainees, and also contributes toward overhead costs. These types of attendees are not able to participate in injecting models. Please call or email us (email@cosmeticmedicaltraining.com) ahead of time so that we can update our final head count for the room, and also arrange to accept your payment via credit card before the training.

 

Can my office manager/spouse/assistant/other individual participate as a model for the training?

If your office manager/spouse/assistant/other individual would like to participate as a model, we would love to have them, and ask that you have them sign up through our website, phone (212-470-8059), or email (models@cosmeticmedicaltraining.com) so that we may schedule them properly. We will charge them material fees only (the same as our other models) which are $100 per area for Botox, and $100 - $300 per syringe for dermal fillers.

 

What types of payment can you accept at the trainings?

We can accept cash or credit cards.

 

Why should I train with Cosmetic Medical Training?
